A message to all Alumni and friends of the Jefferson J-Hawks

Please forward this message to whomever might be interested in supporting the J-Hawks:

Rockford Jefferson High School is in desperate need of financial funding to resurface its basketball court.   Due to the current economic conditions, the Rockford Public School District does not have the money necessary to complete the project.

The J-Hawks are reaching out to alumni, ex-athletes, students, and the Greater Rockford community to raise the much needed $20,200 to fund the project so that the school has an adequate surface for the 2010 school year.  We need 202 people willing to donate $100 to meet our goal.  Those who do will receive season tickets to any and all athletic events for the 2009-10 school year!  We know times are tough, so if $100 is too much to ask, then please donate whatever you can.   The names of all who contribute will be listed on a sign that will forever hang just outside the Chalmer Hart Gymnasium at JHS.

We CAN meet this challenge TOGETHER!
